Know anybody with a 6x6 with a multifuel engine? They'll burn any combustible liquid or mixture thereof, from light crude to vegetable oil to JP4. They don't start as quickly on gasoline as on heavier oil, but they run fine on it. In a regular diesel engine, however, gasoline will act like a torch and burn holes in the pistons. The multifuel has different injectors and different pistons to accommodate more volatile fuels.
