When ray and I were doing eng kits & brakes I asked him about the hubs on 4 vs 8 bolts he said the Chevy rotors were held on with 8 bolts because they had 8 bolt wheel studs and 4 bolts holding the rotor on were strong enough ... if you were to shear off the 4 bolt 5/8" UNF grade 8 I think you I trouble anyway .
