This is in my hot rod
same set up for 20 + years
front spring - shackle in rear
steering box - ford flopped on it's side and at the rear behind the shackles .
drag link - dead level .
Bump steer ? - yes
do i notice it ? -No .
Has it ever been a problem -no
If i could do it again would I change anything ? - Yes the foot clearance is a PITA and I have to brake left footed because the column is in the way .
I break left footed on all automatics and right footed on standards so the issue is not braking left footed as much as the foot room is too cramped .
So there .
You can get more articulation with cross steering .... but on stock springs in a PW i doubt that cross steering is needed ... I do have cross steering in my carryall .
