NP 541 O 1957 to 1969
NP 542 O 1970 to 1982

Both are listed as being used by Chrysler.

But I can't find any mention of them in the lists of transmissions in the dealer literature I checked. There are tons of NP 540s, 541s, 542s, etc, but no ODs.

I'd be interested to see where that data came from. Lists like that are easy to question since they just list makes and someone might have made a mistake.

Interesting to see that at least one source shows dodge using an OD NP transmission.

Anyone have direct experience pulling an OD 541-542 out of a Dodge truck?

Eric
