Tom, I am in the aerial business and I can tell you our liability insurance is outrageous considering our fleet size.
I would not even think of loaning or renting the thing out unless you make an arrangement with a rental yard to do the daily and frequent inspections. The ANSI regs and OSHA regs will give you nightmares.
