seems 17 would be the ideal rim that way can weld in ff centers wherever you want them even to run duals and the 17 in wheel will clear the drum so the inner can slide over it and you can give yourself the proper distance between the dual tires
what i don t see is a good selection of 17 tires
even a 16.5 rim might clear the drum--
that said i like the split ring design of the ff are there 16.5 and 17 in of this design without centers
