Perry, the 26' Wahoo is a great boat; my buddy had one with twin inboards and it is a very roomy and stable boat. There seemed to be plenty of opportunities for mechanical problems on the inboards (salt water and electrical components don't mix well), but I've run Yamaha outboards for the past 25 years with zero down time (literally). I would think the way you plan to use the boat would be the deciding factor. I boat in shoally waters, so the OB is a no-brainer for me.
