OT but Dodge

My 2001 Dakota has had a climate fan problem for some time, the fan doesnt work on setting one. Recently my wife was driving it and said it quit working all together, and she smelled something burning.

I finally got home long enough to check some things out. I took the fan out of the blower box. Put power right to it and it worked fine. Bought a new dash climate control module and put that in. When the AC button is pushed, I can hear the compressor kick on, and the engine increases rpm like its running, but the fan will still not come on, no matter what the fan setting is on. The fuse is good.

So if the fan runs under power, outside of the power of the truck, new control module, fuse is good, where do i look next??
