How much belt wrap you need depends on how much horsepower you are pulling, which depends on how many amps you are drawing.
On boats (which often take a lot of power for house batteries), we had variable regulators so we could set down the max amp draw if the belt started slipping. I would just try what you have and see if you have a problem. If you do, consider a larger pulley or, maybe, an adjustable marine regulator. Check West Marine.
