You can order a filler neck that faces straight up,it clears the fan blades better, I have one on my oil burner. I mounted the ac on the bottom and the alt on top and have a little belt noise on start up from the ac, I am also running mine at 800rpm for idle with no vibration in the door mirror heads ,much smoother take off from stops.
