I saw that the FBI had killed the California kidnapper in Idaho.

The news interviewed the guy who spotted him in the mountains. He said he knew something was wrong because the couple wasn't equipped for hiking in the rugged terrain. He said the way they were equipped may have been O.K. for California, but it would never do in Idaho.

I guess that guy didn't know that California has the highest, hottest, driest, and lowest spots in the continental United States. The Sierra Nevada's are second to none as far as being rugged and some of the places in California are the most isolated in the United States.

The Idaho guy just didn't know that that's the way Californians dress to hike in the foothills. That guy needs to get out of Idaho occasionally.
