How's that compare to destroying a screwdriver with a hammer and still not getting the job done?
REAL "craftsman" have the right tool. I'd sure not take my car to a mechanic who is hammering on a screwdriver because he doesn't have a chisel or is too lazy to get it.
We're not talking about some guy stranded in the desert who does what needs to do to get home. We're talking about a young guy in his home shop who doesn't have a shop teacher to tell him what he's doing wrong.
If you don't own a couple chisels or drifts, you have a long way to go. Spend $5.00 at a swap meet for the right tools and you will have them for the rest of your life.
Pound on your screw driver with a hammer and you will end up with one less usable screw driver.
