I had an M-880 for a few years, it was worn out. I got it out of Fort Hood and they must have drove the piss out of the thing. I'm sure an ambulance doesn't get driven as much (or abused as much!) but I had to do a few minor things. Valve cover gaskets, oil pan gasket and the biggie: rear main seal. Other than that it drove fine, pulled everything I ever asked it to. We enjoyed it but the Army abuses their vehicles, and as with any PRE-OWNED (when did people stop saying "used"?) vehicle - be prepared for some issues.
