77 M886 -- same basic truck as an M880 with the ambulance body added.
318(can't kill it with a stick)engine, 727 transmission, 203 transfer case, Dana 60 rear, Dana 44 front, 410 gear ratio.
Good dependable truck. Some folks don't like the full-time 4WD, others love it.
At the parts store just ask for parts to fit a 77 W200 civilian truck. Most common parts (engine, brakes, axles, electrical, etc.)are still readily available.
Learn how to tune it using a vacuum gauge and you will be surprised what a difference it makes.
