My 46 WDX has 4.89's, a 218, 9.00X16 STA's, a Lock Rite in the rear, and all wheel disc brakes. For a while I was displeased with the 4.89's because of a loss of power problem I was having whenever I hit fourth gear. A problem that as I found out earlier this year was caused by the engine timing being too far advanced, not by the 4.89's. Since then, the truck will max out at 50 or so. Overall, I'm happy with this setup. Now to figure out how to take care of as many of the squeeks and rattles that the truck makes while going down the road, that I can.
