About 5 years ago, I was hot to find and restore a FC-150. They are kind of cute.
Then I did a lot of reading. They can be a death trap. The weight distribution and stance contribute to stability problems. ON a off road side hill they can/will roll. When doing a hard stop, especially going down hill, the truck can flip up on its nose and roll over. The factory fix was a 300 pound cast iron counterweight bolted tot he rear axle, this helped some. Front windshields are near impossible to find.
Needless to say, I steered clear of the FC-150 Jeep
