Who ever did it moved the radiator forward 2+ inches by extending the bottom frame bracket. Then extended the nose back by soldering on a strip of sheet metal. Not a bad idea, though his workmanship was less than perfection.
Hmmm, maybe long extension system could be done by using an extra radiator support with the top cut off to attach the fenders, bolt to OE bottom bracket. Biuld a radiator cross member to move radiator forward how ever much needed, add side wings, piece together two hoods or fab the top pieces, and extend the lower sides. It would look like an Oshkosh 4x4, radiator way out in front of fenders?
