Yup, powder coating, you need to be careful because the shops are popping up all over the place & yet there's way more to it than just hosing on powder & throwing the parts in the oven.
I guess it's safe to say that most really high quality shops would be in the big cities because that's where the work is. A high quality powder coat shop is very similar to a good chrome shop.
I certainly wouldn't ship my parts to be powder coated but certain parts you'll definitely get better results than any paint & a window frame is an excellent example.
A properly powder coated window frame would be under $100 & you'd never see rust on it again in your lifetime.
If anyone wants to send one up I can get it done for you by a quality shop but shipping parts like that doesn't really make sense.
