I just watched a movie called "To end all wars" Similar to Bridge on the river Kwai where a bunch of British POWs are forced to build a railroad for the Japanese. Decent enough movie, except the 2 vehicles the Japanese were driving were a Jeep and an M37. OK, I could buy the Jeep being captured, but the M37 with an arctic top was too much of a stretch.
I know Guns of Navaronne used M37s painted as German trucks, which is just as bad. They must figure not enough people will notice to make a difference.
The other odd thing, when the POW camp gets liberated by the Americans, all of the soldiers had goggles on their helmets. Dismounted cavalry? Strange.
