Hopefully you can find a picture. I've found many of them just bolted down, or bolted with a piece of conveyor belting or something in between. The way it's supposed to work, like all anti-vibration mounts, is that there is no metal-to-metal contact between the engine and the frame. The proper mount has a flat rubber part with a "donut" that goes around the bolt inside the hole. The flat part holds the engine weight and the donut keeps the bolt from touching the sides of the hole. The extra-long bolt with the spring on it maintains tension without squashing the rubber out or allowing it to vibrate loose.

I could not find the proper rear mounts (the ones I ordered from the same guy as the front mount must have been for some other vehicle because they didn't fit) so I just cut out a flat piece from some 1/4" rubber sheet I had, and a separate "donut" from the same material, and made new square metal washers (that keep the square rubber piece from squeezing out) out of some steel bent up slightly on two sides. I'm sorry if my description isn't very good. The bottom line is the engine will run and the truck will go if you just bolt them together with some piece of rubber in between, but for minimum vibration you need to do it right so as to make sure there's no path from the engine to the frame in that area that doesn't go through rubber.
