I had a CDN M37 years ago and still have a spare tranny. The tranny is indeed an Acme T98 which is the same internally as the IH and Ford and Jeep versions. The parts are easy to get and I have numbers if anyone needs them. The input shaft is 1 3/8" dia with 10 splines. The clutch is 11" dia. The PTO idler gear can be found I believe from VPW as they had found some and it took forever to figure out what they were from. The tranny is a very strong and smooth shifting one with syncro'd 2, 3rd and 4 th. Acme just changed the input shaft and even the top shifter housing and gaskey are the same as the others with the "Texas" gasket pattern. I got all my parts from a guy in Colorado or Utah somwhere.
