I made my wedges out of 1 1/2 inch plate on a mill so that they could be used for precision leveling fixtures laying back to back. How do you tell some of these uninitiated without writing a book and even if you did would it communicate?
His question was initially, should I take this to some one who could do it.
Over the course of my 40 year career I have had several jobs that followed up on people that tried to fix it first that caused more trouble than if they would have left it alone. Mostly farmers that had better tools than I had at the time.
I am sure you have similar experiences.
I also suggested chisels, you all recon they have em in Texas?
