I was visiting family last month and a friend told me there was a PW sitting at one of the local salvage yards.
Turns out they had three, two that were really rough, maybe some salvageable parts, but not much I really needed. The third used to be a yard truck, and still had the A-frame on the front end, but had broken down at some point in the past and was now growing into a set of trees. I wanted the headlight buckets from that one but as it is the most complete they were not real interested in parting it out.
The counter man also said they had some spare mechanical parts they used for repairs on the boom truck.
The yard is Chapman Auto Salvage near DuBois PA. Figured someone might have the space and capability to haul them out of there and salvage something before they get scrapped or the weather ruins what decent parts there are left.
The one pictured is the A-frame truck, it is hard to see much as nature had started to cover it over. More pics at the link.
