Thanks to all for the wishes and sympathy.

Today I came home for the first time since Ace has been gone. I spent a week in San Diego on a fire.

Im sitting in my recliner balling my eyes out. My best buddy isnt laying here at my feet like he usually did when I came home after long fires. My wife has already moved his bed out of our room, next to my side of the bed. His food bowl is gone.

I knew this was going to happen, the fire in San Diego helped, but now that Im home its hitting me hes gone forever.

Hope your feeling better and not hurting anymore Ace. Please remember Ill always love you and miss you.
