Don't know. But, it's from Wikipedia and, remember, this is not skydiving. A sky diver did 150 jumps from planes in one day, so I suspect 640 jumps with a couple
helicopters is not impossible. A guy in Australia did 100 jumps in 23 hours and he packed his own chute after each jump. That's according to the Australian Parachuting Federation.

Safe jump altitude is about 1,000 feet. A combat jump is 800 feet and I heard that during WWII a combat jump was made at 600 feet. Altitude is not your friend in combat.

At Fort Benning, they release you from a 250 foot tower, but the chute is already held open.

Who knows what altitude the record was set from? The time to get to 600-800 feet in a helicopter and the drop time back down is very short.

Heck, I can't even stay awake for 24 hours.
