It never ceases to amaze me how many "escape from the apocalypse" fantasy stories that people tell me or that I read about in magazines involve people from all over the country "getting to Idaho". It's gonna be pretty crowded around here if civilization collapses. I'm not sure what they think they'll find, but this seems to be where they all want to get to. Funny how when times are good, they think North Idaho is all neo-Nazis and toxic mine waste, but then when they think about escaping the collapse of civilization, North Idaho is almost heaven.
