The American Bosch WWF series are wonderful wiper motors. Quite a few years ago, I bout a case of 12 on Ebay for $50. I was hoping to use them on my FFPW and Carryall. Look at my attached picture and the Ebay picture. Notice that the output shaft is not on the centerline of the motor. This is due to the large gear box which gives great power.

In the overhead valance of a PW/WC the interior construction and windshield hinges require the American Bosch WWF series to be mounted with the motor portion facing the outside of the cab, both right and left. The left side will mount and use the existing wiper shaft hole in the cab. Now the problem......the right side motor also has to face the outside of the cab on the passenger side. When you flip the motor to mount in this position, the output wiper shaft is no longer centered for using the existing shaft hole in the cab.

One would have to neatly close the existing hole and drill new hole at the proper position so both the right and left output shafts are in the same horizontal plane. The problem with this is that there is not enough vertical space in the valance to do this offset mounting.

I have used these motors on my M37 with great results, but I cowl mounted them and made provision for the offset mentioned above. I use these motors on my Bombardier. They are strong and will move ice/snow/slush with ease.

Now, in my measuring and fit up to use these motors on my FFPW and WC, I may have missed something. If anyone finds a way to fit these motors in a PW/WC, Please let us all know. As they are readily available and very reasonable in cost.

I will post another picture of the offset following this post.
