I know Jerry said it was the weights, but someone way back told me to never let a tire shop or anyone else use an air wrench on the lugs, only a hand wrench. He (whomever) said they will strip out or shear mainly due to the idiot not knowing that some are reverse threads or over torquing because they think they are helping. I'd say watch them and insist they use a hand wrench.
