loosen but don't remove the ring bolts,,put some tires on the rim to give it some weight,,,put a locking tire fill valve stand back,,if the tire was holding air,,the tube will expand enough to pop the ring loose,,,,remember don't remove the nuts just loosen them a thread or two,,,it works for me every time
