Why would you want to remove the bell without wanting to remove the flywheeel?
Changing a bell housing MAYBE, but you can't take the bell out while in chassis without removing the flywheel anyhow- the body is in the way.
Maybe some kind of junk yard expedient?
Oh, I think I have the only reason- stuck engine, can't turn it over to get access to pressure plate bolts? So drive the pins in, slide bell off, rattle gun pressure plate and flywheel bolts?
