My neighbor had a problem getting AAA to pick up his one ton Ford pickup. I don't remember the details, but it may have been because he didn't know the weight.
I checked a AAA Club website. It says they will haul a pickup. There was no mention of a weight limit, so I guess a FFPW should be no problem.
It would probably expedite things if you can tell the dispatcher the weight of the truck. Also, if you have a flatbed, stake bed or other non-standard configuration, you might not be covered.
It's good to know I can probably use AAA to haul my "dependable" Dodge truck. But, I'm guessing the results may depend on which dispatcher and driver you get.
