I've got a 2008 with the 6.7 and 6speed auto.
I plan to wear this truck out. It's true you do have to clean the EGR valve and filter every 68 thousand miles. But service wise and mileage wise it does quite well. If you keep it well maintained as I tend to they should last a very long time.
I have a friend who bought one the same time I did except he uses his more. He's got 320M on his and he's only had one problem with his trans. Aside from the initial warranty covered bugaboos that these trucks often have, he's been trouble free.
He tows a big goose neck RV trailer all over creation.
I think when I move to Nevada I may remove the DPF and EGR. But not here in the "Peoples Republic".
