Hi Dave, it was great to see you in Iowa this year. I don't think it is a good idea to mate the two frames together. The 6x6 frame is a 1/4 inch thick inner frame with a 3/16 inch additional plate on the outside. The power wagon frame is the opposite with I think a 3/16" thick outer frame rail with a 1/8" inner frame liner. So welding would be tricky especially if the pieces are still laminated together. You may have some success if you were to cut the outer rail back a few inches leaving the inner longer and then doing the opposite to the other frame section. Basically overlapping the pieces.
