Obviously nobody is going to import Michelins from Europe, for obvious reasons. There is no market for them at the exorbitant prices that only the Military could ever afford. There is however a market for these tires at $300ea or these guys wouldn't invest the money it took to have the Chinese repos shipped from China.
As far as I'm concerned, the day they stopped selling Power Kings was the day that no 9.00 x16 was available in North America...not radial or bias. The 10.50 Chevron's look cool but they likely drive like crap on the road, but regardless, they aren't radials nor are they 9.00's & so it's irrelevant.
There may not be a big enough market for Michelin or for STA but the market is obviously big enough for this small distributor, & that's great news for guys like us here on this forum.
I have no idea how good they are but I'm optimistic & looking forward to hearing a review from someone running a set on a Power Wagon.
