I'm wondering why the decking has to be replaced if just a dozen or so screw heads popped off. That has to be very little compared to how many was used in the total job.
I'm trying to imagine what has happened to the decking for it to have to be replaced. I'm sure it does or the screw manufacturer wouldn't be paying to replace. But, just curious why.
I know what you mean about having unexpected problems in this economy. I'm a drywall contractor and just had a man brake a sprinkler head on a hospital job. Flooded the job and part of the floor of a operating hospital. The costs are enormous, I turned it in as a liability claim and assume I will be reimbursed but have no idea when.
