The VC4 is supposed to be a cab and chassis truck. I've seen one picture of what I think it one and it had rear fenders, but no bed.

The rims are from a later 1/2 ton like a WC-1 which is a common modification. The question is does the truck have the stock VC front axle tube with 1/2 ton ends or a whole 1/2 ton front axle?

Given the selling price of the Krause VC collection a couple years ago (a restored VC-6 carryall brought under $30,000 if memory serves) and the unoriginal condition of this truck.

I've seen pictures of it before and tried to contact the owner to check and see if it was a true VC-4. Hopefully I can find out now. It would be pretty neat if it is.
