my guess is the shaft with the bronze bushing on it is the inner as it appears to be thicker than the shaft on the outer

so they must all be the same both 3\4 and
1 1\2

my guess is the thicker the shaft the stronger

i don t need stronger rear axles cuz i got the torque is split up between the two diffs

however i would like to see folks be able to keep the stock r65 axles and use a stronger replacement axle that could be made the full 1 3\8s thickness of the spline which would lend strength to the spline and splined on both ends and run cups like the front in the rear

and for super axles fine spline them with the fine spline in the locker and stock spline on the outside as they always seem to break at the diff---could even fine spline the outside and have cups make accordingly or drill out a front cup and weld the new 1\38s thick axle to it

someday i want a 4x4 ff in the fleet with unbreakable axles---------lololol

did the wdx or wm ever come with the bendix style cv axles
