looking for a 360

My brother dicovered the 360 in his 74 power wagon has 2 bad cylinders, We should pay a visit to the liar he bought it from. He has been working on the body until now. It does run but we thought it ran bad because it sat for several years, he did a half *ss rebuild on the carb then figured out the low compression in 2 cyclinders. The spare carb he found behind the seat, the butterflys on it were melted and there is aluminium residue in the intake. How in the world could that happen. Starter fluid? when these mopars pop thru the carb the blast should come up not down right? anyway he needs another 360 relativly cheap. In Connecticut. Thanks
