hi again all, turns out the output housing had two seals in it. The one I could see just fell off when the yoke was removed. The mech was looking at the housing trying to figure out what to do now when he said, hey, there's another seal in here, that's not right! Anyways, he pulled that seal out and drove in one new one. Like I said before, I've gone to this shop now 3 times, why there was a seal driven in on top of another, I have no idea. They fixed it up, no charge except for the cost of the seal. Funny how it gets cheaper each time. 1st time was over $20, 2nd time was $12, this last time this morning was $8. The mech did comment that there seemed to be a lot of endplay on the output shaft, there was probably between 1/8 to 1/4 inch play. He thought this was getting excessive. Any opinions.
