Funny story about Jeep and it will probably be used by gm against them in the law suit!
A jeep executive is looking at his new Jeep Grand Cherokee, 1997 version, and says to his buddy, "How many slots does a Jeep have in it's grill?" His buddy replies, "Seven, why?" The exec, says "How many slots do you see there?" The buddy says uh....uh... eight?" Dohhh!!! By the 1999 restyle the front bumper had been dropped to accomdate the fewer slots. Apparently some snot nose design wiz had thought that the 7 slots would look too square, so he added one extra slot and didn't run it by his boss, about 40 focus groups and ALL the Jeep brass missed it for about 6 years until it was pointed out to them and the change was quietly made.
So much for a secret!
