The 265 was upped to 283 in 1957. Also in 1957 you could buy a car with both 265 and 283. The 265 was dropped in '57 and then in 1958 you could get a 348 Cid Early big block in the big cars and some HD trucks. The 283 Kept on thru 1967. The 327 was broght to being in 1962 and was kept on thru 1969
