Thanks for the correction Bill. I confused the 230 w/ another engine. However, my method, IMHO, is the simpliest method to prime a 230 oil pump. I assure you that it does work:) I had trouble priming a 230 that sat for years and used this method to prime the pump. Afterwards, pull the spark plugs and rotate engine to pump oil into engine as a pre-oil.
