Huck's 65 was Red, my 64 was Blue/tourquoise? So was my trans, bell housing and some factory oversray on my firewall! Travis needs to be careful because those year are not correct, or maybe they are. The point is that "Mother" painted engines just about any color she felt like and just because you have one that is original and Blue, doesn't mean that the next one right behind it didn't come down the line Red. I have even looked into different colors for the "premium" engines but so far I have found no correlation between color and type. ALL of my motor was painted to match, fan, water pump, timing chain cover, pulleys, brackets, valve covers, bell housing, transmission, all blue. The transfer case was orange! We are the original owner of this truck and it was never touched until this year.
