If you contact the company and get to talk with someone that knows the MU2 winch, they will send you a copy of their repair manual. Replacing oils seals and adjusting the bearings and brake band is usually all thats needed. In extreme cases you may need to replace shaft bushings or other parts. The two clutch pins on the drum shaft are tempered and can break fairly easy when you try to take them out. I would leave them alone if at all possible. If you have to get the shaft out, pull the gear. Those pins are about $31 per piece from the factory and the factory will only provide parts to their distributor. Good Luck!
