No tarps! I had a heavy 3-axle trailer and towed with the PW on bed first because that was the best balance anyway. Best thing to get is the rock brush used on those big RV's that tow cars. It hangs way down from the back bumper of the tow vehicle nearly to the pavement and catches anything. Whatever else hits your truck will only be the usual stuff that you'd pick up driving it.
