By far the best air filters are the wire foam elements made by K&N. They have the data to back it up, including HP increases of 11% over stock. They make 100's of different sizes, it is possible that they would have a size that would retro into your oil bath housing. I looked at mine, it would take some work but it could be done. Then you'd have the best protection/performance AND it would look original. Check out their web site BUT be prepared for the usual run around because you have a Dodge. The best way would be to figure out what size you need BEFORE talking to any salesperson. You know how their eyes glaze over as soon as you mention Dodge!!= )
