Need help in pulling steering wheel hub off shaft

Yikes, my steering wheel came off last night. Not a problem, or so I thought. I have a NOS steering wheel. I grabbed the puller out of the garage and started the process, but the hub remained on the shaft. I soaked it with oil last night and will try again this pm. Is there something I am missing in trying to get the hub off?
