Hate to take up forum space, but have to put in my two cents on this one. I own a bunch of M37's but one of my pride and joys is my M-135. Equiped with the big winch up front and a homemade 1.5 ton swinging boom in the back. Dual PTO. The engines are easy and if you have a good trans, great! But if you have a bad trans, go for the manual trans conversion, but that is a lot of money and fooling around. I had better be cheap or if it is a money pit, go but one of the M35 series coming out of surplus. But just like the M37, you just got to love that 50's styling. Mine is a 6x6 six wheeler and you can tread a whole lot of mud. No lockers, all tires must be forward motion to get max traction. Tom
