What kind of equipment do you need? Yeah the only reason I want to tear down this far is because of the rust. She sat for a long time in the open so I really don't have much choice. I looked into chemical frame dipping and apparently there aren't a lot of places left where you can do that thanks to the EPA... plus it's really expensive.

As far as originality, my truck will be a mix of old and new. I'm more concerned with reliability (12V electric, power disc brakes, etc) and the overall original look of the truck. Basically I want it to look as stock as possible with changes that will either be easier to restore/install and have the added performance /reliability. Replacing rivets for bolts wont really bother me that much, I think it would be cool to have the DPCD stamp on all of them, exposed or not.
