Old truck and car manifolds braze OK if you follow the right steps, Toyota manifolds are a different type of cast, don't waste your time unless you want the practice. Drill the crack at eack end to stop it spreading, prep the crack, pre-heat the manifold, braze it while it's hot using the correct flux, let it cool slowly as your fire dies down, when it's totally cold resurface the mounting flange - that's about all you can do.
